Heres another short post by me! After my ridiculous package there was only one thing to do: Visit Ikea and buy 2 more pieces of everyones favorite cabinet!

I drove to Ikea after work and did build the first one the next day before work and the last one after work.Finally none of my figures has to fear that dreaded dust anymore.My flat tends to get dusty rather fast and it was a pain to see them turn into dust magnets.My options for displaying the Detolfs is rather limited and i decided to use the free space in my bedroom for them.You probably wonder why theres such a big gap between the two cabinets but the answer is rather simple: The walls arent straight and it looks like crap when they are placed next to each other.Thats a house build in the 50s for you!

Im actually really tempted to place my third detolf in the bedroom aswell since it tends to get in the way in the living room.Ill worry about that later though.

Now onto the next topic:

I think Coco asked if the Re-ment Kotatsu set works with Figmas and heres your answer:

I wasnt too keen on changing the poses of my action figures so i just inserted them into the already existing scene

As you can see Re-ment stuff works pretty well with Figma/Revoltech Scale and this offers a whole new range of possibilities in terms of accessories and props.Ill check out the other Re-ment stuff aswell!So why did I actually buy that Kotatsu?Well…expect a new chapter in the abduction of a certain someone as soon as i have time and did all the other work that piled up here.

And now for something completly different: The weather was nice a few days ago and I decided to spend some of my rare time outside with my camera.Those shots arent great but they are atleast something I can offer at the moment.

OMG Fish! You should have seen me goe crazy over some stupid fish!This River is actually as good as dead due to the 1900s idustry and the chemicals that were released into it.The first time ive ever seen fish (and THIS big) in the river.I even took a Video as proof for my family and friends!I have no idea what kinda fish they are but they gotta be tough

So does anyone know anything about fish?

I had some free time on my hands today and present you part two of the story thats going to become a hollywood movie in the near future with a totally altered storyline and unfitting actors.Let the Curtains rise!

Ahhh…The Easter Holidays…Finally some time to get some things straight…Ive finally decided to do something against my Corner of Shame and hope to Catch up with all the Blogs later.Lets go on the not so exciting Journey!

The spring is the time when people usually clean up all the mess that accumulated over the wintermonths.Im doing the same thing with the only difference that the mess accumulated in a whole year.I just stuffed all my figure and delivery boxes in the corner of my bedroom without any space management.It resulted in a pretty big mess even I couldnt ignore.Thats why I threw all the stuff into my livingroom and played a bit of Figure box Tetris.

After 30 Minutes of serious playing Figure Box Tetris (Luckily no Boxes disappear when you close a line) ive reduced the whole mess to a few boxes and my bed room looks alot cleaner.

That makes 12 Boxes that can be thrown away including a big load of paper and packing peanuts.An interesting thing i noticed is that you can form my initials out of the packing peanuts:

Im really glad that I have this long weekend due to the Easter Holidays. Getting back into the Job after a 3 Month Break was harder than initially thought.We were working in a 30 minute routine at my old workingplace and it took me quite some time to get used to serve 3 patients in the hour.Its a bit stressy but i absolutely love my new job. Ive thought about sending my old boss a thank you card for firing me.This job gives me alot opportunities in working with athletes and my boss gave me some tickets for some handball games of the team we are taking care of.The atmosphere was astounding! Cant wait to see more games!Due to all the changes happening around me lately I didnt really have too much time to check the blogosphere or post some stuff myself.Itll become better in the next few weeks when im used to my new schedule.I hope to catch some blossoming cherry trees tomorrow in the Düsseldorfer Nordpark and hope to post them afterwards.

Ive recently grown very fond of MegaHouse Figures.They are far from beeing excellent like GSC or Alters figure but theyve been very solid so far and have never let me down.I really like their Queens Blade Series and Im kinda letdown that I missed the preorder of Melon from Akikan. I wouldnt call the show good but ive had my fun times with it ^^

Looks like I have to make some space for more Detolf Cabins !

Everybody knows the steamy,tongue burning and tears bringing Curry thats a favorite to use in the Eating Contest Filler Episodes of Animes.I prepared todays lunch yesterday evening and decided to turn the whole thing into a little guide on how to make some damn tasty curry!

Ill start this off with one of my favorite scenes of the current Minami-ke season. You just gotta love Hosaka-senpai.Its a real shame that he appeared only a few times this season.Im gonna talk about sweaty young mens breast another time so lets start the cooking!

Im actually a really,really lazy guy and the secret behind my Never Fail Curry is to rely on those Curry Sauce Mix cubes that are avaiable in asian grocery stores.They are a fast melting Fat/Spice mixture that come in alot of different variations with different levels of hotness.My personal favorites are the widely available Vermont Curry and Java Curry.The first one is a bit sweeter with a hint of apple and honey while the latter ones are more on the spicy side.The great thing about these ready sauce mix cubes is that you can make a delicious meal pretty quick and the limit is only your imagination! Theres a little downside to the whole miracle though : its packed to the brim with flavour enhancers.You want one without? Go make your curry from scratch!

This is what I used this time: Potatoes,Carrot,Onions,Spring Onions,Meat and Java Curry Ready Sauce Mix.Start off with cutting the veggies in rough small pieces.This guarantees that the veggies have the biggest possible exposure to the spices and sauce while getting cooked.Forget everything you learned about cutting everything neat and just go rampage

Heat up your pan after youve cut all the veggies and wait until its really hot.Ive used already precut meat so I dont have to prepare it,if yours isnt in an appropiate size, cut it in the same method as the veggies while you wait for the pan to heat up.You can test the temperature of the pan with a drop of water.Drop it into the pan, if it jumps around in the pan it has the right temperature to fry the meat.The correct temperature is essential for tender meat.The pores of the meat close faster than on medium temperatures and the meat juice stays inside it and wont end up in the pan resulting in dry meat.Dont use to much meat at once since itll cool down the pan. Stir fry the meat until its slightly fried from all sides and then add the veggies. Stiry fry the whole package a bit until it looks kinda like this:

The next thing you have to do is check the box of your Curry Mix for hints on how much water you have to add to the meat and veggies.My first try ended up in a pretty watered down curry since I misunderstood the cooking directions and used too much water ^^;;;

6 Blocks of Java Curry require 700 ml Water

Add the water into the pan and let the whole thing boil until everythings done.This takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

This is what one Curry Block looks like.Its made of palm oil and body temperature is enough for it to melt.Break the Curry Block into 6 cubes and add them slowly one after one to the food.

It seems a bit watered down in the beginning but after a few minutes of cooking it turns into a nice sauce.I just discovered that Flickr allows to upload Videos and I proudly present you my first Video:

I like to serve rice or noodles with curry but its open to your prefernces what to serve with it.I just popped some rice into my bowl threw some curry onto it and its done! Fool Proof!

The whole serving has fed me two days in a row.Its a pretty easy to make and very stuffing meal!

This was the part where ive been severely slacking the last weeks.Ive mounted one a few weeks ago but was too lazy to mount the other one aswell.Dannys Contest gave me the kick in the butt i needed^^ Im seriously running out of space for my figures by now.My Detolf is pretty crowded and i dont have space for another one.Looks like ill have to let some of my figures live out in the wild.Im still trying to think of a solution how i can keep them away from dust. Any Ideas?
